Winter has finally arrived in Wetzel County, WV. We had somewhere between 3 & 5 inches of snow yesterday. It started about 9:30 AM, which is not so great for Sunday School and church attendance. People were scampering to get home after Sunday School before the roads got any worse. There was a beautiful Spirit in the morning service yesterday, though. God was moving through the congregation, and we were drawn together in worship. Last night there were not very many that returned for the evening service. Tonight is our final video of the REACH Training event. Not many of our Sunday School teachers have been a part of the training, but hopefully they will jump on board with the work that must be done if we are going to really reach our community for the Lord. There is too much at stake for us to fail at what God has asked us to do! Please pray that we will do the things that God wants us to do.
God Bless,
Pastor Greg

A New Year
Well, it seems hard to believe, but we have been at Paden City Nazarene for 5 years now. God has blessed the church in many ways, although we have had our challenges. I have been getting into the Word and prayer more than in the past, and I know that God is working in my life. I am excited about the coming Discipleship Class that we are beginning on Monday nights, and am looking forward to the Spiritual Growth that it will bring to me and to the people who will be part of it.
Today I enjoyed the fellowship of our Sr. Adults at the SAM luncheon. Good food, good fellowship, good worship! I'm looking forward to all that God has in store for 2007 and beyond.
God Bless you! Pastor Greg
